Match Report
Moreton Hall started in emphatic style with the K.O. spread to Rout, who crossed in to King for the first goal, 10 seconds on the clock!
This opener took Elmswell by surprise & kick started their game, they attacked with their No 6 & 9 making a good deal of the play, they had several good chances which were stopped by Humphreys, playing well, in the Hall goal.
Hall got back into their stride & new signing Clarke scored his first for the club.
Hall continued to play the ball around & they were rewarded with Haggerty’s first in this game.
Hall came out to a second half with the wind behind them & confident, this showed when King released Clarke to slot home number 4 with 3 minutes of the second half gone.
This dented the Elmswell team’s spirits for a few minutes in which Haggerty scored his second. At this point Hall started to allow the Elmswell team to show how well they can play football, it was only some good saves & back tracking by the Hall defence, including new signing Unsworth at right back, that kept Elmswell out.
Moving into the last 20 minutes of the game saw Haggerty make it a hat trick, & Clarke follow in on goal to finish off another shot by King to give him his hat trick in his debut game.
King maintained his strength to take on a pass from Cockman, carry the ball forward to 1 on 1 with the keeper & slot home for his 2nd of the match with 3 minutes to go.
Elmswell were starting to tire at this point & couldn’t cope with Haggerty bursting through to slot home number 4 with 2 minutes left.
Hall now were able to give a last push which gave Skevington his 1st of the season in the last minute of the game.

Match Report
Moreton Hall started the game with an under strenght 10 man squad due holiday & other commitments, this did not deter them, Hall were reduced to 9 when a defencive header from Skevington was met with a Melford boot & the resultant cut eye brow meant Skevington being taken to A & E for treatment. (A long wait & a few stitches later & he was ok).
To add to Hall's problems Rush also injured his knee & a swap of keeper to allow the game to continue happened, this meant Sibbett coming on to the field.
Hall played a great game under pressure of numbers & came out 10 - 3 winners.

Match Report
This week a different team showed up to play, Hall were alert & ready to go from the first whistle. Straight into the game with Hall attacking into the sun, a cross field ball from Ahmed released King to run down the right & shot home from 12yards. The Hurricanes didn’t hold back & Hall goal saw the ball put away to equalise.
It was the Hurricanes who continued to push & capitalise from a slip by Humphreys in goal for Hall, 2 – 1 down with 22 minutes gone. Hall raised their game again & Haggerty burst down the left & fired across towards goal allowing Rush to finish to level the scores at the break.
The second ½ saw the Hurricanes come out of the blocks straight away & take the lead 5 minutes, Hall continued to work the ball & had several close attempts, the Hurricanes fought back & got another when a long ball released their striker to slide the ball under the outstretched Humphreys to make it 4 – 2. Hall didn’t stop & kept the game going right to the last few minutes when King scored his second of the game. Time wasn’t quite on Hall’s side.

Match Report
Again Moreton Hall didn’t start well and allowed Thurston to play their game, which they did well, with 5 minutes gone Hall were 1 behind. Hall at this point turned round and started to play the game, some good passing on both wings allowed Hall to push forward and attack the Thurston goal, still Hall could not make the attacks count as Thurston closed out the Hall attack & the keeper did the rest.
Hall started to run out of steam as ½ time drew closer and allowed 3 quick goals to be scored in 6 minutes.
Starting off the second ½ Thurston attacked almost immediately and were awarded a penalty when Thurston’s number 5 went down in box, the spot kick was placed well and the score moved up to 5. Hall did not appear to be their usual selves and will need to work at the basics ready for next week.

Match Report
This was a match in which Hall failed to start well, it was almost as if the sea air had made the team sleepy! It wasn’t long until a well drilled Trimley side spread the ball out to the right, down the wing & back into the box for the first attack. At 6 minutes the Hall defence was breached & we were 1 – 0 down, the boys still hadn’t woken up & at about 25 minutes found themselves 2 down., this was the wake up call & Hall responded with an excellent movement on the right for King to run on to a pull 1 back.
As we started the second half Hall had good amounts of possession but failed to capitalise, Trimley on the other hand made more of their chances & made it 3 – 1. Hall kept going & were rewarded with another goal from Haggerty from a corner. It wasn’t long before Trimley again scored. Hall kept pressing and were rewarded when Rout poked the ball into the net in a goalmouth scramble. Humphreys had another good game in goal for Hall, making some great fingertip saves, one which was put on to the bar being followed up by Trimley being headed over the line for their last goal.

Match Report
As a season's opener this was a great game to watch, both teams started well & most of the play was in the centre of the field. Morton Hall were pressing on both sides &
Stow countered well. Hall broke the deadlock with a goal from Haggerty, on his debut, on the 6 minute mark, a great ball into the middle was controlled & finished well.
Hall came out in the second half not looking as confident as they had finished the first, but still maintaining their shape & a good deal of the ball. Hall's striker Hays made the best of a goal-mouth scramble to finish & put Hall 2 - 0 up. Stow Falcons didn't take it easy & they continued to press making attack after attack, Humphreys kept Hall in the lead with several great stops & distributed the ball up field well, King, the team Captain, had several attempts on goal, from great positions, but was denied by the posts twice. The Falcons continued to press & were rewarded with 2 goals in the last 15 minutes of the game, Hall can feel that this was probably 2 points dropped but a game well played by both sides.
