HLA U16 5 Moreton Hall U16 1
Due to bad weather this was Hall's first game of the year. Hall were lacking several players but those available worked hard for each other and played some very good football. Man of the match for Hall was Nathan Abbott who set up their only goal of the game. He took a corner which bounced around the penalty box before Joe Fiztsimons slotted the ball home. Ryan Jackson played out of position at right back and left back was covered very well by James Smith. Not a too bad a result for Hall against table topping HLA.
