Match Report

Moreton Hall U16 0 Hadleigh 3 In a very even game that belied the final score Hall were unlucky not to come away with something. The Hadleigh keeper was on excellent form to deny Billy Murkin and Joe Fitzsimons who were both very lively up front. Lamarr Bennett-Grant had one come back off the post and James Smith had one cleared off the line. Tim Francis also came close to scoring on two occasions and Ben Dale hit a thunderous shot only for the keeper to pull off an excellent save. Hall also found themselves caught off-side far too often and could not find a way past the keeper who earned his clean sheet.
